"Ahhhh!" What more can I say about something that pre-dates the wheel? Skiing is my true passion in the mountains and I would love to share turns and tours with you. Come experience the sheer joy that only powder skiing in awe-inspiring terrain can bring. I can customize ski trips for all types of terrain and help you learn the tools for traveling safely in the winter mountain environment while seeking beautiful fall lines.
All courses will cover skill content in: avalanche beacon use, self and party rescue, recovery tactics, how to ski on the glacier or in the trees, crampon and tool techniques and movement skills for skinning and skiing. I believe the more efficient we become with these techniques the greater ease we will have in moving through the mountains. After all, it is only skiing and skiing is supposed to be fun! The Skyway Monte Bianco lift accesses some of the best ski terrain anywhere. There are also over 20 other ski areas to choose from in the Val d' Aosta all of which provide many off piste skiing options. There are also many road side ski tours we can explore as well. Some options we have to choose from are: Champoluc, Gressoney, Cervinia, Pila, Le Thuile and Courmayeur. Based on snow conditions we can keep the itinerary open to ski where we will find the best snow. The best time to plan this trip is January till mid March.

Grand Paradiso
The Grand Paradiso offers some fine ski touring from comfortable huts. We can choose from a 3 to 5 day itinerary based on your time. Not to be missed is the roof of Italy, the Grand Paradiso at 4061m.
Norway Ski Safaris
A skier's life just isn't complete without a trip to the birth place of the sport of skiing. Come explore the wild mountains and fjords of Norway on skis. I have skied in many popular places such as: Sogndal, Stryn, Rosendale, Jostedale, Jotunheimen, Tromso, Senja, Lyngen, Uloya and Svalvard. I would love to share these beautiful places with you by customizing a trip that works best for you. The best time for this tour is April into May.
